Kuldip Singh Bagga, a renowned business tycoon of Delhi, was born in 1946 at Lahore (now in Pakistan).His father Hakim Pratap Singh had started a business and he after completing his graduation from Khalsa College, Delhi in 1966 along with his brother S. Gajinder Singh joined this family business being done under the name and style of M/s. Simla Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. This company along with other items is the manufacturer of a famous hair fixer brand ‘Simco’. As this product finds place on the dressing table of almost every Sikh family throughout the world, S. Kuldip Singh emerges as a leader in his trade. His son, Kanwardip Singh Bagga joined him in business in 1992 and now the company is run by both of them. The company has three manufacturing units one at Baddi in Himachal Pradesh and two at Bhiwadi in Rajasthan. The company has already diversified into the business of various cosmetics like Shampoos, Creams, Lotions, Styling Gels, Hair oils, Hair sprays and perfumes etc. Many more items are in the channel. S. Bagga is a Gursikh role-model not merely because of his unique items of business, but also because of his social and religious activities. Whereas, he has been a Deputy District Governor level of Lion International, he is also the President of Naraina Industrial Association Phase-I and II. He is sharing responsibilities as joint Secretary Naraina Indl. Area CETP Society as well as Chairman Taxation Committees of Apex Chamber of Commerce and Ind. of NCT Delhi. So far his religious activities are concerned, he is a sponsor of many such programmes on TV channels and otherwise organized. He has also initiated the start of “Aao Baniye Gursikh Pyara” a religious TV Programme being telecast every week since April 2014. The programme is promoting knowledge of Gurbani teachings, Golden Sikh heritage and Global Sikh Personalities in a very educative and interesting way.
