Ranjodh Singh

Ranjodh Singh, s/o Late Giani Bhagat Singh (a multifaceted and renowned Sikh personality of Ludhiana) was born on 03.06.1965 at Ludhiana. After obtaining his qualification in Mechanical Engineering and training in the family concerns like G.S. Radiators Ltd., he inherited the family business and presently is the Chairman and Managing Director of GST Group consisting of G.S. Radiators Ltd., G.S. Engitech Pvt. Ltd., and G.S. Distribution Inc. He is also the Nominee Director of Eastman Cast Forge Ltd. This group has companies with requisite certifications regarding quality of their items which they supply to big concerns like Mahendra and Mahendra Ltd., Punjab Tractor Ltd., Swaraj Mazda Ltd. and so on. The company G.S. Radiators has designed and manufactured its own radiator manufacturing machines and has made tremendous progress during all these years both in terms of technology and financial strength. The use of latest technology from Japan (Punching machine from MURATEC), Germany (latest Plasma cutting technology) and other countries has shown their visionary attitude for future plans. They plan to diversify their activities to many more areas like Precision CNC Machined and turned Components, Radiator Coolant and Book Publication.
S. Ranjodh Singh is not only a successful and prosperous business tycoon but has also various other social, religious, educational and artistic interests and activities. The various Educational Institutions run by the REC (Ramgariha Educational Council) are being run under his guidance and supervision being the President of REC. All the Institutions, namely Ramgariha Girls College, Ramgariha Sr. Sec. School, Ramgariha Girls Sr. Sec. School, Ramgariha Elementary School, Ramgariha Co-ed High School and Ramgariha Swarag Ashram, GT Road, Dholewal. He takes keen interest in all the activities of the children and organizes programmes for the overall development of their personality. He remained a senior member of GNDU from 2009-2012 and actively participated in discussions for raising the standard and quality of education. His institutions have excelled not only in education, but in other activities also including sports and cultural programmes. He is himself a lover of sports particularly cycling. He has promoted cycling and undertaken many long distance cycling excursions along with others. He has also held such positions as Vice President of Punjab & Chandigarh Pvt. College Management Association and President of SPIC MACAY – Ludhiana Chapter – the Society for promotion of Indian Classical Music Art and Culture amongst Youth. In 2008, Sikh Council of Religion and Education of U.S.A. honoured him with awards of excellence. Coming to his social activities, he is always eager to work for the welfare of the people, be it the education for the poor or the Medical care for the needy people. He is a patron of Sankra Eye Hospital, Ludhiana. Last, but not the least is his interest in Art and Literature in close association with spirituality, particularly the Sikh religion. He is a wonderful photographer, a painter and a writer. Whereas, his poster of Sri Nankana Sahib, Sri Panja Sahib and Photo print of Sri Hazoor Sahib, Nanded reveal his excellence as a photographer, his Desk Book of Vision & Wisdom and Coffee Table Book, “Japji Sahib – Prayer of the Soul” show his love and high sense of spirituality. He has displayed his art through exhibitions organized in Delhi and Punjab.He also tried his hand on making documentaries (e.g. Documentary on the life of Maharaja Jassa Singh Ramgariha) and pictorial presentation of Sikh shrines in Pakistan as well as pilgrimage to Sri Hemkunt Sahib. S. Ranjodh Singh being multifaceted personality, has won various awards and honours for business entrepreneurships, for photography and for his wonderful literary achievements. For all these things, he becomes a unique role model for his unique works. When his latest book on Sachkhand Sri Harmander Sahib was released in India at Ludhiana and then internationally in Gurdwara of Delaware, USA on 22.05.2016 and in Ramgariha Centre, Leicester UK on 30.05.2016, his stature as a role model touched new heights.
