Gupreet Singh

Gupreet Singh is a Paper Artist from Amritsar. He becomes a role model as he has got a specialized skill of making his artistic creations with paper. He believes that we must preserve our heritage. That is why, he is constantly making efforts with his art to make such creations which we can pass on to future generations. When he created a replica Miniature of Golden Temple with paper, the same was displayed at a Gurdwara in an Exhibition at Singapore. He was highly appreciated for the same. Later on he improved his earlier creation and created the Miniature version of the Golden Temple with the help of ivory sheets and art paper, putting his innovative updations in it with the hope that this improved version will survive longer and be passed on to the next generations. Since then, he has created many new wonders in paper and has organized his shows in many parts of the World. His amazing creations include those of Taj Mahal in India, London Bridge of U.K. and China Wall of China. He is a rare artist of his kind and whatever he makes, he always goes on improving looking for perfection to the extent possible. He loves his religion and is fond of promoting it through his creations. His creation of Miniature Model of Sri Nankana Sahib and also of a small turban speak for his love for his spiritual heritage. Kes Sambhal Parchar Sanstha honored S. Gurpreet Singh as an Icon Paper Artist of Punjab on 3rd December 2017 at the fifth Child Saga Function organized by the Sanstha at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public School, G.T. Road, Amritsar Auditorium.
