Takht Sri Harimandar Sahib, Patna Sahib

Whereas, the above mentioned Takhts are located in Punjab, the two Takhts are located outside Punjab.
The Takht Sri Harimandar Sahib, Sri Patna Sahib is in Bihar, and is the place of Birth of Sri Guru Gobind
Singh Ji. The tenth Guru was born here on 22nd December 1666.
The memorial room of Guru’s Birth was originally built in 1665 by
Raja Fateh Chand Maini. Later on, a new construction was made
by Maharaja Ranjeet Singh in 1839. In 1887, the rulers of Patiala,
Jind & Faridkot states jointly made additions to the existing structure.
However, as that building was seriously damaged in earthquake in
1934, the present magnificent building was constructed under the
supervision of Sant Nischal Singh and Sant Kartar Singh in 1957.
The other Gurdwaras surrounding the main Takht shrine were built
later on and these commemorate the memories of the childhood of
Bal Gobind (original name of Guru Gobind Singh). The same include
