Amandeep Singh, born in Kurukshetra in Haryana, India, is known as the ironman of India. Amandeep belongs to a devout Sikh family. He was only 10 years old, when he started learning Sikh martial arts. As he grew, his efficiency in the use of these martial arts increased to such an extent that he started performing a number of daring stunts. His fame as a stunt man spread so widely that people starting inviting him to show his feats of strength. Since then, the 34 years old Amandeep, has shown his mettle by lifting a motorbike above his head, smashing a metal bar across his chest and withstanding being run over by a car. While doing all such feats, he has become a role-model who can do wonderful things. He can break stones with his hands, lift men with his teeth and can perform various other heroics which justify the nickname earned by him as ‘ironman’ . The role-model Gursikh has already earn a place in the India Book of Record and is now determined of entering the Guinness Book of World Record very shortly. He does his practice minimum for six hours every day and follows strictly vegetarian diet. He also continues to add new fetes for his mindboggling shows of strength. For example, he has recently added a feat whereby he is not affected even when hit with a sledge hammer on his balls. By adding such like feats, he has an ambition to prove himself as the strongest man in the world. He has been awarded and honour by various organizations at different platforms for his spectacular feats of strength. Recently, when he came back after winning in open Boxing championship in Thailand, he was honoured by various Sikh and other organization and prominent person at Gurdwara Sahib Patshahi Chevi at Kurukshetra. He was widely appreciated for his efforts and participation in all such events including that of Boxing in Sikhi Sarup. It has rightly been said that in the Sikhi Sarup, he has distinguished himself as really the ironman of India.
