22 kms. South East of Amritsar City. Guru Arjan Dev Ji had purchased some land
and laid the foundation of a Gurdwara in honour of Guru Ramdas Ji. This Gurdwara
has one of the largest tanks and resembles the Golden Temple except that it is built
on the side of the tank and has a marble exterior. Guru Ji had also established the
first home for lepers in India at Taran Taran. It is believed that water of the holy
tank here cures the leprosy. A big fair is held here every month on Amavas day.
