Angad Singh Ranyal, a brilliant Sikh youth, based in Delhi, is well known as a stand-up-comedian. He was born and brought up in a religious Sikh family in Delhi. He was a bright student who did Engineering and after that MBA. Thus, to become comedian was not his aim. However, it was his nature to keep smiling by finding something or the other funny around him. He has been making fun of everything funny including those relating to him. He is associated with various organizations which aim at giving comedy programmes to the people. For example, one of these organizations is the ‘East India Comedy’, which came into being in 2012. It is group of Indian stand-up Comedians that performs comedy shows, organizes comedy workshops, corporate events and scripts movie and television shows. The group claims to be India’s busiest comedy company with a record 130 shows across the country in the calendar year 2013. East India Comedy maintains a YouTube channel that shows their comedy stints and satires on topics like politics, religion and the Indian film industry. Much of their reputation was initiated through their online presence. The group hosts India’s version of the Golden Rasberry Awards (Razzies), the Ghanta Awards. He is also a member of the YouTube comedy and the ‘comedy store’. A number of comedy items presented by him are available on YouTube the same include many in English as on relationship issues, on Mumbai and also HRD Department. When he speaks in English fluently in humorous manner, everybody starts laughing. Thousands of persons have become his fans and would like to watch his comedy shows as a comedian, he has become a popular name and a role-model for many people who love to laugh and make other laugh. He is not only a good entertainer, but also a good writer. He plays role for Comedy Special shows like ‘Comedy News Network’. He has given his performances not only in India, but, also in many foreign countries. There is another side of Angad’s personality when is not doing Comedy shows and becomes a motivational or philosophical speaker. He has a good knowledge of such subjects also and can present the same with courage of conviction. Such is the wonderful personality of this wonderful role-model Sikh youth.
