Dr. Harkeerat Singh Dhillon
Dr. Harkeerat Singh Dhillon is an Orthopedic surgeon in Riverside, California and is affiliated with
multiple hospitals in the area, including Parkview Community Hospital Medical Center and Riverside
Community Hospital. He is a specialist in orthopedic surgery. In addition to being a famous doctor he is
also known for his generosity and charitable activities. Whereas he is long time Trustee of the UC Riverside
Foundation, he is also the Chairman of the campaign for Sikh Studies at UCR. It may be mentioned here the
said chair was setup by the Dhillon couple in 2008 at the University of California for those students who had
an interest in Sikh and Punjabi culture for providing support for dissertation research and writing on arts
and humanities topics that relate to Sikh and Punjabi culture. Dr. Dhillon had earlier helped raising funds
needed to launch the endowed chair. This year again when this role-model Sikh couple donated one lakh
US$ for this purpose, they showed their interest and keen desire to encourage the students to come forward
for study and research in Sikh and Punjabi culture. This gesture on their part has really made them a great
source of inspiration for others. The couple becomes a role-model for all such people who love Sikh and
Punjabi culture and want to promote the same by any means.
