Gurdwara Bhai Biba Singh in Peshawar

Another Gurdwara known as historic Bhai Biba
Singh Gurdwara was declared open in April 2016
for the visitors. Believed to have been built during
the regime of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, the gurdwara
was closed in the 1940s after local Sikh community
began migrating out of Peshawar. Some say it was
closed even before Partition as there were local issues
between communities. The 300-year old gurdwara
has been renovated, with the Pakistani government
pitching in with Rs 55 lakh for the restoration work,
while the local Sikhs contributed Rs 15 lakh.
