Gurdwara Karte Parwan
Talking of the only operational Gurdwara in Kabul known as Gurdwara Karte Parwan, the same is situated
in Mohalla Karte Parwan of Kabul. Infact, this area is the centre of Afghan, Hindu and Sikh communities.
Regular Maryada is observed in this Gurdwara. Among other Gurdwaras in Afghanistan, there is one
Gurdwara at Jalalabad known as Gurdwara Chashma Sahib Jalalabad. Jalalabad is northeast of Kabul on the
road to Peshawar. Guru Nanak Dev Ji stayed here during his western udasi. This is believed to be the place
where he stayed.
