Ranbir Singh Attwal was born on 15th March 1961. He did his B.A. (Honors) Economics in 1980
from Delhi University and completed his C.A. in 1986. S. Attwal became fellow member in 1991. In the
meantime, he had also become an associate member of Chartered Institute of Management Accountants
London in 1989. Presently, he is working as CGMA (Chartered Global Management Accountant). He is the
sole proprietor of RSA associates (Accountants and Registered Auditors) since 1988 to date. He also worked
with Dixons Group Plc (FTSE 100 Company in the UK) from 1988 to 2007, wherein he progressed from a
Financial Accountant Rank to The Divisional Financial Controller. In addition to being a prominent name
in Audit and Accounts in London, he is associated with many social, educational and religious organizations
and their activities. He is statutory auditor for Nanaksar Thath Isher Darbar and Sri Guru Singh Sabha South
Hall, promoter and Internal auditor of GNSA Ltd (for 1 year). He was also on the chair of Governors Khalsa
Primary School South Hall for 3 years. He is also the Trustee of The Kalgidhar Trust and looks after its affairs
in UK. It may be mentioned here that Kalgidhar Trust is running various academies known as Baru Sahib
Group of Academies. He is also a trustee-Sangat Trust (UK Registered Charity Number – 1139995) – Since
inception in 2010. This Trust is aimed at delivering a universal message of peaceful coexistence to humanity
through Sikhi’s core values of: Loving His creation, Spiritual wisdom, Humility and tolerance, Compassion,
forgiveness and mercy, Honesty, transparency and accountability, Contentment and selflessness and
Chardikala (constant optimisim). The trust focuses on the central and universal message of the Sikh
scriptures and eternal Guru, which is to recognise humanity as one and to see God in all. The eternal Guru of
the Sikhs, Guru Granth Sahib Ji offers us hope, a path to enlightenment and a practical and timeless message
for contemporary daily living. This Trust also runs Sangat TV Ltd. which is a wholly owned subsidiary of
the Trust since its inception in 2010. S. Attwal plays an important role in these activates for promoting Sikh
religion and Its values. He is a role model for all those living in UK to work for propagating the tenets and
teachings of this great religion. He is living in London along with his family.
