Joginder Singh

Joginder Singh, a distinguished IPS officer, is also a reputed writer and a columnist. After obtaining his Master’s Degree in English, he joined Indian Police Service and was allotted Karnatka Cadre. During his service, he held many significant posts and was considered a highly efficient and honest officer. He served as Director General of Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Central Industrial Security Force, Bureau of Police Research Development and Narcotics Control Bureau, apart from serving as Special Secretary in the Union Home Ministry. He has also been Member of the Executive Committee of Interpol in recognition of his dedication and professionalism. He came into prominence when he was selected to head the top investigating agency of the Country, Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). He became known as a crusader, fighting against corruption in high places. He led a number of Indian Delegations on behalf of the Indian Government. In addition to his outstanding career spanning over 36 years in Police, S. Joginder Singh is also known as an author and Columnist for several National and States Newspapers. He has authored 28 books and some of them have been published in all Indian languages as well as in Indonesian language.

His books include the Magnus opus, “Inside CBI” and his autobiograplhy “Without Fear and Favour”, apart from books on the contemporary conditions in India, like ‘Inside India’, ‘Inside Indian Police’ (Both Hindi and English), ‘Police Ke Kahani Meri Zabani’ (Hindi), Good Governance Belling the Cat, Discovery of Independent India, Indian Monocracy, Scams, Demise of Indian Dream. He is a role model for lacs of people as he is an excellent motivator and a management speaker. He generally writes and speaks on inspirational subjects which are appreciated by audience. His gift of gab has made him so popular that he is always in demand all over the country. His speech contains wonderful words with humorous touches.
