Prabhjot Kaur Bajwa also known as the Golden girl is a role-model being an international young gymnast. Her father Dr. G.S. Bajwa, a retired Indian Air Force officer is a famous coach of gymnast at Government Model High School, Sector 23, Chandigarh. Prabhjot, 22 years old rhythmic gymnast is a trainee of NIS Patiala under the guidance of Arjuna awardee Dr. Kalpana Debanth, started her career in Chandigarh. She did her initial schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector 31, and represented the city in three different junior nationals during her initial career in sports. She even took part in the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow last year. In 2015 when national games were held at Canada, she won five medals two gold, two silvers and one bronze. Beside winning these medals she was also declared as the all-round best gymnast. The role-model gymnast believes in giving best of the performance rather focusing on bagging medals. Wishing her best of luck for future, we all should feel proud of her achievements till date.
