When, the state of Haryana came into being in 1966, S. Bhupinder Singh Jauhar of Yamuna Nagar
emerged as one of the leading Industrialists of the Country. Born on 25.12.1930, S. Bhupinder Singh Jauhar
not only established a great Business Empire, but also founded Haryana Chamber of Commerce of which
he remained the President for nine years. His business establishments Jai Spring Group and Jamna Auto
Industries Ltd. made the Haryana Chamber of Commerce well recognized. Whereas, Jai Spring Group is
a market leader in Auto Mobile Spring Industry, Jamna Auto Industries Ltd. supplies its products to the
top Indian Auto Mobile Giants like Maruti Udhyog Ltd., TATA Motors, Ashok Leyland and Mahindra
& Mahindra. The products supplied cover a vast range. It is in view of his contribution to the Industrial
growth of Haryana and also the Country on the whole that his plants are existing at Yamuna Nagar,
Malanpur-Gwalior, Chennai, Jamshedpur, Lucknow, Pant Nagar & Pune. Thus, he holds the membership
of a number of Industrial bodies of the State and the outside State. It is not only the business in which
his contribution is very vital, in other fields of politics, culture, education and sports also he has made a
name for himself. Whether it is International Punjabi Society or World Punjabi Organization or various
educational institutions or sports organizations, his active association with them shows his interest in

not associated. During College days, he was General Secretary of All India Sikh Federation. He remained
member of Municipal Committee, Yamuna Nagar and Improvement Trust, Yamuna Nagar. So far his
educational interest is concerned, he played an active role in promoting Mukand Lal National College/
Institutions and D.A.V. Institutions. But his greatest attention being towards Sikh Education, he is the
President of Guru Nanak Khalsa College, Yamuna Nagar, Guru Nanak Khalsa Institute of Technology &
Management Studies, Yamuna Nagar, Guru Gobind Singh Institute of Management Studies, Yamuna Nagar,
Guru Gobind Singh College of Pharmacy, Yamuna Nagar, Guru Gobind Singh Business School, Yamuna
Nagar, Gandhi Memorial National College, Ambala Cantt. & Gandhi Memorial Public Shool, Ambala Cantt.
As a promoter of sports, he is not only a member of various clubs like Delhi Flying Club, Chelmsford Club,
Delhi and Chandigarh Club, Chandigarh but has also financially supported many sports persons like Ankur
Sharma – Body Builder, Subhash Sharma- known as Rubber Boy and Manpreet Kaur who had gone to Rio
Olympics. Thus, S. Bhupinder Singh Jauhar being a man associated with all the activities of life, becomes a
great role-model for all the persons.
