Another notable Gurdwara in Kanpur is known as Bhai Bannu wala Gurdwara. This Gurdwara is known because a hand written copy of the original Adi Granth stated to have been made by Bhai Bannu Ji when he took the original Beer to Lahore for binding purpose, is available. This copy bears the signature of Guru Arjan Dev Ji and the public is allowed to have a glimpse of the same on Baisakhi day and the day of installation of original Beer at Sri Harmandir Sahib. S. This Gurdwara is being managed by Sant Baba Pritam Singh Ji who is also managing the famous historic Gurdwara known as Guru Ka Taal at Agra. The Granthi attending Gurdwara Azamgarh is S. Satnam Singh (Mob. 9454082555). S. Satnam Singh told that there are only two Sikh families in that area. However, on certain occasions when Gurpurabs are celebrated some of the families come from main city and nearby places. The unique feature of this Gurdwara is that it has 25 old hand written Beers of Sri Guru Granth Sahib and 6 hand written Beers of Dasam Granth.
