Dr. Prabhdeep Singh
Family Care Medical Group of Imperial Valley is a physician’s Multi-speciality group which was
established in 1995 with a Primary goal to provide a broader base of medical care with a variety of Ancilary
services like Ultrasounds, bone densty, Cardiac Testing, Dialysis, Ensocopy etc. for the entire imperial
valley. This group of doctors consists of one Sikh doctor S. Prabhdeep Singh, who was born and raised
in Punjab. After obtaining his Medical Education at Amritsar, he had moved to U.S.A. in 1993 where he
completed his training in Internal Medicine at Cook Country Hospital in Chicago. He practiced in Phoenix
for two years before moving to the Imperial Valley in November 1998. In January 1999, he opened his
own internal medicine practice in ElCentro and in January 2008, he joined Imperial Valley Family Care
Medical Group. Since then he has been highly involved in the Community, particularly the local medical
community. Being a member of the ElCentro Roatry Club since 1999, he has served a two year term on the
Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (2000-2001). He has also served as Chairman of the Department
of Medicine at ElCentro Regional Medical Centre (2004-2006) and President of the Imperial Country
Medical Society (ICMS, 2003-2006). When he was president of ICMS, the society grew both in membership
and services including the grant of scholarships at Imperial Valley College. Dr. Singh’s popularity as
a motivational leader made him a role model. He attended many leadership conferences and has been
involved with the CMA House of Delegates. He is also an accomplished public speaker. He has been
lecturing extensively for the last many years on both CME and non CME programmes. The popular Sikh
Role Model, Dr. Prabhdeep Singh – MD was awarded the rank of fellowship to the American College of
Physicians in 2009 in recognition of his hard work, leadership, patient centric care and demonstration of
continuing scholarship and professional accomplishments.
