Amandeep Singh Sidhu, a renowned farmer and a well known name in Australian media, was born in 1973 at village Punnu Mazara, Distt: Nawanshar, Punjab, India. Being brought up in an agricultural enviorment, he could not complete his higher studies. More over, when there was turbulence in Punjab, he made up his mind to move to Australia. He migrated to Australia in 1994 and Started Farming upon arrival with 10 acres of land. Gradualy he became prosperous and purchased more and more land and presently he is growing crops on big farm of 190 acres. He is known for his blueberry and Greenhouse Tomatoes. Apart from his interest in farming, he wanted to serve his community by keeping them informed about their motherland and language. He started Harman Radio and also a sports organization for promoting the sports among Punjabis living in Australia.
