Bhai Sarabjeet Singh Dhunda, a Missionary Sikh preacher, is a native of village Dhundha near Taran Taran Sahib. He is product of Gurmat Gyan Missionary College, Ludhiana. He became popular when he started doing Katha from Gurdwara Bangal Sahib, Delhi. Although a number of controversies had been attached with him including that Congress wanted to promote him or he was against certain Nitnem Banis or that he has spoken against certain Gursikhs, the fact remains that his popularity has grown during all these years. He has a good knowledge of Gurbani and specializes himself in explaining Gurmat principles in the light of Gurbani. Whereas, a group of persons speak against him and many time prevented him to address the Sangat, there is a large number of people who like him for his outspoken views against Deravad, hypocrites and certain leaders who are not providing the requisite leadership to the community under the influence of their political Masters. He has given hundreds of Katha performances in various congregations in India and other countries including mainly Canada and USA. He appeared regularly on a US T.V. Channel to speak on some Gurmat subjects. In Canada, he has been honoured many a times for his preaching against Sant Babas and enlightening the people with negativity of Karam Kand. According to him, he has never spoken against any Bani or Sikh Rehat Maryada. When he was summoned from Sri Akal Takht Sahib, he tendered apology for any wrong done by him. Undoubtedly, his vigorous style of propagating, his knowledge and clarity about the concepts has influenced the people all over the world and a large number of them listen to him with apt attention and patience. Lakhs of his cassettes, Cds and recordings are in circulation among the Sikhs and on social media. He is a role-model for all of them who hear him accordingly. Those who do not like him or his style or ideas must remember that Gurbani prohibits us from any kind of ill will, jealousy, hatred or vindictiveness. So, without criticizing anyone, least of all a Gursikh or brother or sister we must inculcate the habit of appreciating each other’s views and even if the views cannot be reconciled, instead of being hostile to each other, we should sit together and reach some acceptable consensus. If we show, unity to the world, the world will appreciate us and our efforts for propagating the teachings of our Gurus will move in the right direction and bring the desired results..
