Bhupinder Kaur Malik, an Attorney, who has graduated from Trinity Law School, was admitted to the Bar for the State of Califonia in 2008. She started in the San Bernardino Public Defender’s office where she handled thousands of criminal cases and conducted jury trials. She is now a trial attorney at the Law Offices of Edward C. Ip & Associates. Her main areas of practice are civil litigation and criminal defense. Her civil litigation practice focuses on all property related issues including construction defects. Her criminal defense practice covers all areas of criminal law. In addition, Bhupinder is an active member of the Southern California Sikh community. She volunteers and organizes community events. She has spent the last 5 years as an advocate for the Sikh American community around issues of immigration, civil rights, domestic abuse victims, and more. As SALDEF’s Western Regional Director Bhupinder is extremely involved in the local community, encouraging community members to actively learn about their rights and opportunities in the United States. In addition to all of the above, she also finds time to spearhead involvement in local Khalsa schools to teach young Sikh children about their faith and Punjabi language skills. Thus, Bhupinder is doing a wonderful service not only as Attorney, but also for her community and for the coming up generation of Sikh children. She is a role model for all those for and with whom she has been actively working in the true spirit of Sarbat Da Bhala.
