BibiJi Inderjit Kaur Khalsa ji is known throughout the world as the Bhai Sahiba or Chief Minister of Sikh Dharma. To more than 25 million Sikhs around the globe. she is a revered ‘mother’ and honored as an ambassador of good will and a harbinger of interfaith dialogue among religious leaders. When she moved from India to USA along with her husband Yogi Harbhajan Singh. She acted as a moral strength for him in his mission to bring peace in the life of the people through Yoga and meditation. She has been named the New Mexico Representative to India by Governor Bill Richardson in 2007 and the New Mexico Ambassador of Peace by Senator Shannon Robinson in 2006. She was recognized as an Outstanding Woman of New Mexico by the Governor Bruce King, following which she was inducted into the New Mexico Hall of Fame. With Guru Ram Das blessing she was given the title of Bhai Sahiba by The Siri Akal Takhat Sahib.
In 2005 she was given Panth Rattan title by The Siri Patna Sahib Takhat. Bibi Inderjit, by virtue of her commitment and dedication to her designated service, has also earned the honour of being the first Sikh woman to be formally recognized with the title of “Bhai Sahiba helping to spread the Guru’s teachings around the world. In May of 2004 Bibiji was presented with the Kashi Humanitarian Award by the Kashi Ashram in Florida, and in April of that year she was the only woman appointed to the Akal Takhat Religious Advisory Counsel in India, a prestigious body of 21 Sikhs selected from among esteemed ministers, teachers, and counselor throughout the world, credentialed and recognized in their fields, and created to conduct studies and make recommendations to the Akal Takhat on critical issues facing Sikhs in the world today. Bibiji has authored a number of books on Sikh educational principals that are used throughout the world , including Living Reality, a question and answer book for Sikh youth, and the Siri Guru Granth Sahib Blessing, an intricate and esoteric description of the rags (musical scales), poetry, and architectural design of the Siri Guru Granth Sahib, the sacred body of Sikh scripture, hymns, and holy verse. Bibiji is also known as a mother and a respected wise woman by nearly a half million yoga students throughout the world. Heath Happy Holy Organization (3HO) was founded in 1969 by Yogi Bhajan, PhD (1929-2004), to help spread the teachings of Kundalini Yoga and a lifestyle integrating body, mind, and spirit. 3HO is the non-secular arm of Sikh Dharma dedicated to the advancement of the individual through education, science and religion. 3HO centers have sprung up around the world, offering classes in the ancient science of Kundalini Yoga, and complete lifestyle guidelines on nutrition, health, relationships, child rearing and human behavior. Bibiji lectures and teaches courses throughout the year at many 3HO centers worldwide. Bibiji serves as the head of the 3HO delegation to the Non-governmental Organizations (NGO) body of the United Nations. In 2003 she was appointed to the Governor’s Mental Health Planning Council in New Mexico, and she is the Program Director of 3HO Super Health, a drugless rehabilitation program for substance abuse and other addictive behaviors with more than an 80 percent success rate. She is the Founder and Program Director of Create Inner Peace, a program to manage critical incident stress for first responders, utilizing yoga and meditation technology. Bibiji is sought as a public speaker, lecturer, and teacher at hundreds of seminars worldwide.
