Description
Mrs. Bubbles Kandhari was born in 1951 in India. She was educated in India and graduated with honors in Economics, Statistics and Politics from Elphinstone College, Mumbai. In 1976, Mrs. Kandhari along
with her spouse S. Surender Singh Khandhari and two children came to Dubai to grow the family business
and formed the Al Dobowi Group. Along with her office work she was a part time RJ in two radio stations
specially interviewing important personalities and also acted in few serials and dramas. She is also fond
of writing poetry. In addition Mrs. Kandhari is associated with various social, educational and religious
activities. Such activities includes Teaching children on spirituality, Kirtan & Gurmukhi, Organising free
Medical camps on Fridays, Donating food packets to labour camps thru NGO’s every quarter, and Education
for underprivileged children.
Mrs. Kandhari’s biggest inspiration came from reading books on and of Guru Nanak, meeting Mother
Theresa and Dalai Lama and to some extent Osho.
all religions and beliefs, Inter-faith dialogues and understanding for peace and harmony in the World are
the contribution of the Sikh religion. Mrs. Kandhari was the organizer for the First UN World Interfaith Harmony Day Conference in Dubai which was sponsored by the GuruNanak Darbar Gurudwara under the patronage of HE. Sheikh Nahayan

She is also the Chairperson, of Young Hearts Group, Dubai Ladies Group in Dubai, and also the Director
of Al Dobowi Group, Dubai, UAE.
She has received various achievements and accolades in the below fields :
- Writing poetry in different languages- English,Hindi and Urdu & Punjabi Every week They were being published in khaleej Times & Gulf News
- A book called “Bubbing over “was well received and still continuing to write
- Young hearts Group
- Growing Education for the underprivileged children
- Serve the community
