Dr. Balwinderpal Singh

Dr. Balwinderpal Singh is the Head of Department of Economics in G.H.G. Khalsa College, Guru Sar Sadhar (Ludhiana). He was born on 25 August 1958 in the house of late S. Dalip Singh Bawa and Bibi Jaswant Kaur Ji. He completed his education by obtaining two Masters Degree in Economics and Punjabi (1980, 1983 respectively) from Punjab University, Chandigarh and joined an Assistant Professor in 1980. He is a role-model teacher for his students as apart from his subject he imparts the teachings of the Guru as enshrined in Sri Guru Granth Sahib. In fact his thesis in M.phil. and Ph.D. are also related with this subject of correlating value based life with economic growth and development. The thesis for M.Phil. ਸਿੱਖ ਨੈਤਿਕਚਾਰ ਤੇ ਸਮਾਜਿਕ ਵਿਕਾਸ  (from Economics Department, Punjabi University, Patiala) has been published Dr. Baljeet Singh Dr. Balwinderpal Singh 500 Sikh 250 Role Models by SGPC in several edition and is available in various Gurdwara’s Library and Dharam Parchar Center.His thesis for Ph.D. is Process of Human Resource Development (Process as Enshrined in Gurbani).

An ideal as he is, he is a perfect role-model who is living at Ludhiana with his wife Kanwaljit Kaur who is also a lecturer in English in a Government School.
