Dr. Brij Pal Singh was born on 1st February 1938 in a devout Sikh Family, After his post graduation in Economics, he went to Greece to do his doctorate. Although, there was no other sikh in that area of Greece during that time, Dr Sahib lived as a turbaned Sikh with the faith ‘Guru mere Sang Sada hai Nale! He taught economics for more that 10 years at Lal Bahadur Shastri National academy of administration, mussooorie to IAS and other services probationers, the brilliant officers to run the administration of the country after their training. His way of teaching was highly motivational and that made him a popular guide among the cream of the country. Even after his retirement he went on giving new administrators to the country through a coaching academy set up at Patiala. Presently, he is associated with many religious and social activities. He is president of Guru Nanak mission Patiala and General Secretary of Academy of Sikh religion and culture. Through these organizations, he helps the poor students for education, motivates them to become Gursikhs and writes pamphlets to enlighten them about the true sikh way of living.
