Dr. Prabhjot Kaur

Dr. Prabhjot Kaur is a renowned Gynecologist with high qualification and experience in her field. She was born on 18th May 1968 at Ambala in the house of S. Charanjit Singh and Bibi Harjit Kaur. She did her MBBS from Rohtak Medical College in 1988 & MD in obstetrics & Gynaecology from Grant Medical College & JJGroup of University Hospitals Mumbai in1993. She started her Medical career as a senior & Chief Resident at St Georges Hospital Mumbai, Cama & Albless Hospital & GT Hosp during the course of her Residency. Then, she worked as a Lecturer in Gynaec & Obstetrics at Grant Medical College Mumbai, KEM Hospital & Seth GSMedical College Mumbai (1994-1996). In 1996, she proceeded to England on Overseas Doctors Training Scheme and worked there at Royal Victoria Infirmary (University of Newcastle upon Tyne) 1996-97and worked as a Specialist Registrar at North East Thames Deanery, University of London upto 2000. After returning to India, she worked in CMC Ludhiana as a Senior Lecturer and then for five years as a Consultant Gynecologist and Infertility Specialist at Royal India Infertility Centre and Research Institute at Karan Hospital, Ludhiana. Currently the family has their own hospital at Karnal,named as Guru Nanak Hospital and she is the Chief Consultant at Infertility and IVF Unit of the Hospital. She is also the Scientific Director, Divine India IVF Centre. She is also the Founder Secretary of Karnal OBS and Gynae Society. Dr. Kaur, being a true Sikh, is also a Social Worker in Medical and Religious Fields. She has presented many original Scientific Research Papers in Indexed Journals, read many papers in Seminars and Conferences and delivered lectures in Colleges and Univesities for Health Awareness among the people. She organizes free Medical Camps, Health Awareness Programmes, Workshops and arranges Medicines for the Health promotion of rural women and poor and depressed class people. She has also organized programmes for promoting Youth Oriented Health and saving the daughters from killing in the womb. Recently, she organized State level Conference on Save Daughters, PCPNBT and Art Professionals, IFS.Con 2016 and Art update 2016 in Haryana faculty for many National conferences. She takes keen interest in Sikh religion and participates and donates for all such functions and programmes, which are aimed at promoting and propagating Sikh values and principles.
