Dr. Satinderpal Singh Bakshi, a renowned homoeopathic doctor and manufacturer of Bakson brand of Homoeopathic medicines, was born on 15th July 1952 in Delhi. He had education in Delhi ending with DHMS degree from Nehru Homoeopathic Medical College, New Delhi in 1973. In view of his deep interest in homoeopathy, Dr. Bakshi started studying the cases with curing them with homoeopathic medicines. Although, the number of patients coming to him gradually increased, but, he found that many people did not have faith in this pathy and preferred allopathic. He made up his mind to make homoeopathy popular and educated the people about its advantages over all others. S. Bakshi has since been dedicatingly performing this role by writing articles in various magazines and newspapers, contributing research papers both in India and abroad and giving talk shows on electronic media. He has been the Vice Chairman of the Board of Homoeopathic system of Medicine, New Delhi from 1986-1992. For two terms then he was elected as the President of Central Council of Homoeopathy. His contribution in popularing homoeopathy and producing its various products, is quite immense as to make him a role model in this field.
