Gurdwara Bangla Sahib
Gurdwara Bangla Sahib is situated near Connaught Place and is
associated with the visit of the 8th Guru Sri Harikrishan Sahib Ji who stayed
here. As an epidemic was taking the life of large number of people of Delhi
at that time, the Guru with his spiritual message and fresh water from a pool
situated herein, healed many of them. Even today, the people have faith
in water from that pool and accept it as Amrit. This was one of the seven
Gurdwaras built in 1783 following the victory of Sikhs over Delhi.
