This Gurdwara has historical importance as both Guru Nanak Dev Ji and later on Guru Hargobind Sahib, in the course of their visits to Delhi stayed here. It is situated on the right bank of river Yamuna opposite Timarpur coloney. The name Majnu is that of a Muslim hermit, who meditated at this place and was blessed by Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
