Gurdwara Thara Sahib
Gurdwara Thara Sahib is situated in Singhapura Village, which is close to
Baramulla. This Gurdwara, commemorating the visit of the sixth Guru was got
constructed in 1930 by Bhai Veer Singh Ji, who used to spend considerable
time in Kashmir Valley. Guru Hargobind Sahib had visited this valley in 1620
AD, although a seat of Sikh Mission in the valley had been working since the
time of Guru Amardas Ji.
