Starting from southern most part of the country, we have a small Gurdwara in Trivandrum, presently called Thiruvananthaturam. This Gurdwara is known as station Gurdwara as it was started by army personnel in the 1960s. At that time there was no civilian Sikh family in Trivandrum. So, the Gurdwara was opened and closed as per the convenience of the army people. Now there are 10 Sikh civilian families mostly living around the Gurdwara. These families now perform daily Maryada by taking their turns. One person, S.
