Guribadat Singh

Guribadat Singh became a sikh role model when he climbed Mount Everest on 21th May 2013 at the age of 17 only. He became all the more inspiring when he narrated his experience and his love for religion. He said “By God grace I have climbed mount everest on 21th May 2013, I faced many difficulties in climbing Mount Everest. My hair were frozen on the way to summit 29000 ft due to the Harsh Climate (-37 degree temp), and my sherpa (guide helper) said that he has to cut my frozen hair otherwise it would get worst but even in those conditions i didn’t get my hair cut i faced many more difficulties i ma proud to be a Sikh and did not give up my proud religion.” Since then he has been invited to various organizations in different countries and honored for his valorous spirit and firm faith in God. Sikh TV in UK honored him with Sikh Youth Icon of the year award 2015. He has also been honored by various religious organizations and also by President of India. May God bless him with more achievements in the coming years.
