Huzur Singh

Huzur Singh is a social activist and a religious preacher of Sikhism in Hyderabad. He was born on 15th November 1928 at Hyderabad in the house of late S. Ram Singh and late Sdn. Inder Kaur. After doing his B.Com., he established his business, which is now known as PCH Group of Companies. This group is comprised of Punjab Crockery House Pvt. Ltd., PCH Marketing Pvt. Ltd., PCH Enterprises and Aptronics Pvt. Ltd. with branches at Vijayvada, Chennai, Bangalore and Kochin. He is the Chairman and the Managing Director of this business group. Apart from being a prosperous business person, he is an Amritdhari Sikh, engaged in various activities related to propagation of Sikh religion. He is associated with various organizations which are engaged in such activities like organizing Sikh youth residential camps, Gurmat Camps during holidays, Gurmukhi classes, Kirtan training, quiz competitions, Kavi Darbars and sports competition to help the Sikh students to be conscious about their health and fitness.

Thus, he is a member of SGPC (Dharam Parchar, Amritsar), Ex-member of Andhra Pradesh State Minority Commission, President of AP Sikh Welfare Association, Hyderabad, President of Guru Gobind Singh Sports Council, Hyderabad, President of Gurmat Parchar Society, Deccan, Hyderabad, and President of Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle, Hynderabad. He is also Chairman of Guru Nanak Mission Trust, Hyderbad, which runs a hospital in collaboration with CARE group and are in the process of establishing old age home, Gurmat Training Center and center for social activities. All these details speak volumes to show that S. Huzur Singh is one of the leading preachers of Sikh religion in South India.He is not happy with the present condition of Sikh affairs caused by complete disunity among the Sikhs and lack of powerful and dedicated leadership. The role-model Gursikh prays to Waheguru Ji to bless all the Sikhs with such wisdom that by forgetting our vested interest, we all unite to resolve the Sikh issues in the interest of all the Sikhs.
