Kaka Singh Mohanwalia

  1. Musician – Official Manager UK/Europe Of International Superstar Diljit Dosanjh | Dharam Seva Records Charity | Famous Studios | Filmonix
  1. From a young age he visited India frequently and paid homage to many sacred places with his family.
  2. Ranging from Hindu Mandirs deep in the Himalayas, through to Shrines of Peer Fakirs in Punjab.
  3. He always felt something different inside when he used to go to the Gurdwara be it a small village Gurdwara or The Akal Takht.
  4. Religion was never really a priority, although it fascinated him, especially when seeing images of our Gurus and old Sikh wars.
  5. As he grew up, he slowly achieved everything I desired. It was a blessing to gain an understanding of rhythm by Waheguru. By watching a
  6. Dholki player in a Mandir performing to bhajans parmathma, guided him to self teach myself to play
  7. Dholki.
  8. Under the guidance of a rhythm instilled passion he made the promise land of becoming part of music producer, Sukshinder Shinda’s band, and recording his first ever vocals in Amans Hayer’s Groundshaker 2 international releases.
  9. Sukshinder Shinda was his greatest idol; he grew up waiting for his albums to be released. he
  10. read every cassette and album inlay, and was inspired.
  11. His basic understanding of rhythm instilled the passion to respect and admire Aman Hayer and Sukshinder Shinda’s talents. These artists also brought a star into his mediocre life: one of the greatest Living Bhangra Superstars – Jazzy B.
  12. From 2001 until present, God guided him around the world to places he would never have seen like Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, Dubai, Norway, Denmark, Italy, Kenya to name a few.
  13. He had seen a lot and
  14. even lived for one year in New York. Throughout all of this, he was
  15. very driven to live a very normal life.
  16. Knowing that musical influences like Jazzy B & Sukshinder Shinda had a huge respect for Sikhi, it started a deep inspiration towards the religion.
  17. Jaz
  18. zy B never went on stage without doing a ardas. Seeing things like this made him think I should take time out for my religion like he had done, but he never really did.
  19. He began to observe how people were good to one another, unlike him.
  20. He was self-centred and wanted to make everybody laugh all the time, never really cared about others, it was always about me and my friends.
  21. although due to having
  22. a basic understanding of the purpose of life and being lucky enough to having inspiring idols in his life, the soul had reason to feel it was being wasted.
  23. He lived my dream of touring the world with the people I dreamed of, but something was missing.
  24. After getti
  25. ng married in 2009, he had reached the pinnacle of his life so far. Life was still on its normal course until something special entered into self-centred life.
  26. He was at a wedding in Coventry, UK where due to boredom he wandered off from the Anand Karaj. Downstairs in the Gurdwara there was a stall selling Gutkeh, where other religious books, Kareh etc. He saw a very old man behind the table. He asked him a question which was from deep within. He asked “Baba Ji I want to know more about our religion and its main purposes”. He was a amazing old man he come across like a fountain of wisdom and replied ‘accept this’…It was a Red Nitnem Gutka Sahib. He said to ‘start to read Japji Sahib and your life will transform’. He said ‘there’s nothing more to be done or said’. He asked who wrote it and he said Dhan Guru Nanak wrote this himself nearly 500 years ago. At this point, he think the seed god places in all of us may have began to sprout. He was intrigued, taken back and had lots of questions. He said go away and read and begin to recite, make a decision to never miss a day without Japji Sahib and you will begin to find its powers. He purchased the Gutka Sahib and took it home. He was immediately sucked back into the play of Maya and Kaljug and didn’t even open the Gutka Sahib for at least a month.
  27. One evening whilst speaking with friends the topic of God came up and they spoke about our life being like a Pie Chart. When we will go to the court of God they will show us our Life like a Pie Chart: what will be the story of my life be if I carry on the way I am going? 50% of my life I will have spent sleeping; 25% eating; that leaves 25% this will be spent laughing, dancing and just trying to find happiness in the form of fun fun fun and money, money, money.
  28. At this point, two of his friends were drinking and I’m telling you that seed we were speaking about earlier all of a sudden began to sprout even further. It was here that he knew I had to do something; it was here he could make a choice to win over my mind and start to do paat for the rest of his life. At this point Waheguru took control of him from this point on. That night as he got home he could not sleep. All he kept thinking about was that his life was becoming a big waste.
  29. The following morning he woke up, tied a rumal and went to look for the Gutka he received a month ago. After searching everywhere, he found it and sat down – everybody else was still asleep at home. At this point he read “THE” message from Guru Nanak Dev Ji himself!
  30. As the weeks went on he never missed Japji no matter what I would at least listen to the Japji Sahib paat daily.
  31. After doing the paat daily for around a month, he then asked a friend what the hardest part would be to take Amrit…he replied to me “for me it’s the look, I don’t think I could keep my kesh all the rest is easy. At this point he thought how hard could it be to throw away all my razors and just never cut another hair on my body. He was changing inside. This made it very difficult to sit around in pub because his inside was feeling something but externally everything would have looked the same therefore society would not let him move on and it would not have been possible to stop drinking alcohol etc
