Kiranmeet Kaur Jassal, a Malaysian model and beauty pageant title holder was born on 3rd November 1996 at Subang Jaya, Silangor, Malaysia. Her mother Ranjeet Kaur who was a lawyer had won Mrs. Malaysia World 2013 title. This shows that Kiran was brought up in such a way that she could earn a name in the glamour world. She completed her school’s studies at Koleage Tunaku Ja’afar and is presently the student of dentistry programme at International Medical University. However, when she got an opportunity to participate in a beauty competition, she not only availed of it, but also won the title of Miss Universe Malaysia 2016. Jassal was crowned the Miss Universe Malaysia 2016 title on 30 January 2016 at Palace of the Golden Horses Hotel, Seri Kembangan, Selangor, Malaysia. She was crowned by outgoing titleholder, Miss Universe Malaysia 2015, Vanessa Tevi Kumares. Besides the main title, she was also awarded Miss My Dentist Winning Smile subsidiary title. She will represent Malaysia at the 65th Miss Universe 2016 on January 30, 2017 in Philippines. By attaining this prestigious title and a further opportunity, the Sikh girl of Malaysia has become a role-model for all those who aspire to enter the glamour world. However, Jassal has made it clear that she will not give up her studies in any case and will set up orthodontic one day. This shows her strong determination to go ahead with her mission despite the glamorous attraction coming on her way. This view, all the more, makes her a role-model in the true sense.
