Manveer Singh Panesar

Manveer Singh Panesar, presently 20 years old and living in Leicester is a football player of merit. He has a strong desire to play professional football for his national team with his articles of faith including turban. His interest in football is right from a very young age and whenever he had to play, he insisted on wearing a turban during his matches. Born and Bred in Leicester, he was trained for men’s team called Olympia FC in West Midlands in Leicester.He has big hopes to get further training in his favorite sport. Although his getting a good support by his friends and family, he is determined to go ahead with his passion not at the expense of his morals or his faith. He is one of the first young Sikh football players to insist on wearing a turban during his matches.

In one of his interviews by desiblitz.com, he stated that he sure to become the first Sikh to play football with turban on his head.
