When a popular TV show named as ‘Rodies’ on MTV channel declared a turbaned Sikh Balraj Singh as the winner for X4 session 2016, another Sikh Ocean Singh also attracted the attention of the people. He was selected as a contestant in ‘Rodies X4’ because of his sweet voice, dashing personality and passion towards Roadies. Born in a Gujrati family from Lucknow, he was converted to Sikhism and this conversion brought in him a transformation towards noble way of living. According to him, he had a number of bad habits but when he was attracted towards lofty principles of Sikh living with such values as truthfulness, service to mankind and thinking of welfare of all, he became amritdhari and engaged himself in preaching Sikh values and training the young ones Sikh martial art GATKA. Having won a number of medals in this sport, he has a dream to take Sikh martial art on International level. What makes him a role model, is not only his dream, but a strong determination to lead the life like a true Sikh, a saint solider
