Some Lesser Known Facts About Ranjeet Kaur:-

  1. Ranjeet Kaur, a young mother from England, UK has recently launched a line of Sikh Colouring Books to help inspire young children onto the Sikh path.

  3. The inspiration for these books came from receiving Easter cards in March 2016 from other local English families.
  4. When it came to Vaisakhi time in April, Ranjeet wanted to be able to treat not only her children but also children of other faiths in a way that would invite them to learn about the Sikh religion in a fun and interactive way.
  5. Hence the Sikh Colouring Book for Children was born – initially consisting of three hand drawn images bound at home.
  6. As she received feedback and appreciation, further sketches were made which form the book in its current form.
  7. Soon after the publication of the Sikh Colouring Book for Children, whilst speaking to a local Sikh Youth Educator – Giani Sukha Singh of Birmingham, an idea was devised to have a book which served a more educational purpose and could be used in Sikh camps worldwide.
  8. This took Ranjeet back to the sketching pad and a month later the Gurmat Colouring Book for Children was released.
  9. This book has since been used in various sikh camps in the UK and in Australia.
  10. The momentum was such that when it came to Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Gurpurab in November 2016, Ranjeet again wanted to create something special so children could get excited about the birthday of the founder of the Sikh Religion – Guru Nanak Dev Ji.
  11. She created her third book – Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Teachings to mark this auspicious occasion.Alongside producing all these books, Ranjeet has now been busy helping in various Sikh Camps by enjoying sharing her two passions – her Sikhi beliefs and her love of all things colouring.
  12. She is also currently working on several other projects which she hopes to release in the upcoming few months.
