Sandeep Singh Bedi, a famous film producer and director, was born on 12th Febuary 1956 in New Delhi. He had his education in Delhi and then moved to Bombay. In 1989, he started his company known as Kaleidoscope Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. (or KEPL). KEPL is an Indian film and television production company, regarded as one of the leading production houses in the Indian film and television Industry, and one of the few that have created content that has successfully crossed over to western audiences. It has produced many films including Bandit Queen, Fire, Electric Moon, Saathiya, Maqbool, American Daylight, and The Rising. S. Bedi, popularly known as Bobby Bedi, has also acted in a few films.
